Today’s online edition of the Miami Herald has an excellent article about Shawn Michaels featured. Michaels, who has been spending a lot of time this week doing media appearances and interviews, said that after Wrestlemania, he wants to slow down his schedule in order to spend more time with his family and that he’s made WWE aware of that, noting that he doesn’t let his children watch WWE programming.
Michaels was also asked about how he was holding up physically, replying by saying he was “tired and sore but fine physically".
Interestingly, when asked about the current storyline on RAW with Vince McMahon, Michaels said “Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels were going at it long before Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin ever came on TV. So this was something that has just made its way to TV. I don’t know if it was anyone’s idea because it was something that goes on in our real lives on a fairly regular basis. I’ve always enjoyed bringing aspects of my real life to our show because for me I don’t consider myself an actor. I’m not very good at that kind of stuff. If I don’t do something that I’m not familiar with, it’s not going to come off very well.'’
