Something I thought about from last night's Raw. I know this is nit picking, but why not be a wise ass eh?
Last night Eric Bischoff was going to 'strip' John Cena of the WWE title. Vince McMahon proceeds to come out and blurt out some bunk that a 'GM doesn't have the authority to strip someone of a title'.
The date, Raw September 6, 2004.
During Raw, Eric Bischoff 'strips' Edge of the IC Title since he was injured. He announces a ladder match at the Unforgiven PPV between Christian and Chris Jericho for the belt.
Gee, even Vince doesn't research his storylines? Let's go one even further that had someone stripped, then unstripeed, by 2 GM's!

Eric Bischoff claims Goldberg having a bum ankle and strips Goldberg of the WWE title. He says that he 'thinks' Goldberg will not be able to make the mandatory 30 day title defense.
Enter GM#2 Steve Austin. He 'unstrips' Goldberg of the title and books a match between Triple H vs Goldberg at Survivor Series 2003.
And who can ever forget the night Eric Bischoff 'awarded' the heavyweight title by handing it to Triple H. That's not really stripping off a title. But it shows you the stupid attempts behind lame rationale Vince made on Monday's Raw.
