Vince McMahon's big announcement on Raw was that WWE had "re-signed" Matt Hardy, who will face Edge at Summerslam. Hardy then told the story of Lita and Edge's relationship (avoiding the fact that WWE fired him) and praised the fans for bringing him back to the company. Hardy brought up the fans chants and said that Edge destroyed his dream of having a family and children. He said that Edge nearly destroyed his dream of being a WWE Superstar.
