The following are excerpts from a recap of "Hogan Knows Best", read the rest at www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=12052&p=1.
We move to the house where Brooke tells Hulk that he has a phone call from Vince McMahon (Brooke Quote: “Hey dad, Vince McMahon is on the phone. I don’t know what he wants, but that’s really weird.). As Brooke ease drops outside the door, Vince asks Hogan if he would be interested in being inducted to the Hall of Fame. Jokingly, Hogan asks if he would be in the main event at Wrestlemania, suggesting that he could fight Father Time. When Vince brings up the possibility of Hulk getting back in the ring, he says he has to talk to his family, calling it a “little soul searching.”
Hulk reminds us that his last match was a year and a half ago and that his greatest fear is not wrestling again, it’s being passed by.
Hulk then goes and tells Linda, his wife, that Vince asked his about being inducted into the Hall of Fame (OH! Linda without makeup). Naturally, she’s excited for him, but when Hulk mentions the idea of getting back in the ring, she cringes, bringing up the hip and knee replacements. After Linda grabs to beer cans to put on her eyes to alleviate puffiness, Hulk then goes and tells Brooke about being inducted into the Hall of Fame (Brooke’s response: “What’s that?”). She too asks about the possibility of him wrestling (Hulk’s description of Brooke: “She’s like the perfect female image of me.”)
We move to Brooke’s room, where she has apparently torn one of her shirts. In true Hogan fashion, she decides to go over the top and rips part of the shirt off to mimic her father (at which point she complains about the tear in her shirt).
In the home gym (as opposed to the one where porn starts hang out), Hulk, Nick, and Brooke are working out. Hulk is getting excited about Wrestlemania weekend, and both Nick and Brooke make the comment that he’s Hulking up. Brooke points out that Hulk’s wearing a red & yellow tank top (a Gold’s Gym one, not a Hogan one), and claims it’s because he has a craving to be Hulk again. Brooke makes the statement that Vince McMahon wouldn’t call Hulk just because he wants to see him again, at which point, Hulk says to Brooke, “I promise you right now I will not go out and wrestle.”
...
Prior to Hall of Fame ceremony, Vince McMahon gives the inductees a pep talk, reminding them that this is their night to talk about their careers and to just have fun out there. We then see clips from the Hall of Fame ceremony, including shots of the fans reaction to Hulk and of his family reacting to his speech.
