-Vince McMahon appeared on Fox New Channel's business show Tuesday afternoon. PWTorch.com reader Rod Steter of Eau Claire, Wisc. details:
-The show is usually run by Neil Cavato, but there was a stand in for him today. McMahon showed tape of the Smackdown visit to Iraq.
-He called today's bombing of a mess area in Mosul unfortunate, but said the rewards of entertaining the troops outweighed the risks.
-He noted the demographics of the wrestling business was similar to the ages of the soldiers.
-McMahon said some of his wrestlers were hesitant about going, but it was a voluntary trip. (I guess Luther Reigns didn't hear about that voluntary provision.)
-Asked about softness in WWE stock, McMahon said the business is cyclical and he's confident of the product.
-All in all, a respectable interview.

Vince McMahon was on the Fox News Network this morning promoting this Thursday's Smackdown in Iraq. McMahon said 4,000-5,000 troops were in attendance at the event. McMahon said that the Middle East is the most dangerous place in the world and everyone who went was volunteers. McMahon said there were some code reds while they were there and with all the code reds, you take for granted that most of the rockets don't hit their target, although sadly yesterday, one hit. He said that the troops are doing a lot for the local schools and public and the Iraqi nation has a lot to look forward to with their upcoming election. McMahon said that they went over there to boost the spirits of the troops, but it ended up working the other way around.
