The following is a recap of HHH's interview on TSN's "Off The Record:"
- Triple H considers himself a success, but does not see that as a stopping point and plans to continue other ventures, such as his Hollywood career. Triple H, even though considered a very hard worker, does not consider his job to be "work." He called McMahon the hardest working guy he knows.
- Addressing the constant "anti-HHH" rumors, he said that he understands he can't always be at the top and everything clears through Vince first. People who say he uses his power for personal gain have no idea what really goes on.
- Vince McMahon originally thought Triple H's relationship with Stephanie would not be a good idea, but the Undertaker told him to "do what he wants." HHH views Flair as an example of someone who remained at the top because of his ability, but did things that might not have been in his character's best interest.
- Shawn Michaels truly has been "saved" and has greatly changed since finding God. HHH and HBK had a sour relationship for a few years, but with help from Kevin Nash, it was resolved.
- HHH views Flair as his hero, but if a situation arose where he needed to fire Flair and had the power, he would do so.
- Triple H confirms WWE's interest in creating another mega-star, but remarks that it's hard work. Guys like Randy Orton, John Cena and Batista are still trying to learn and cannot immediately become the next Rock or Austin.
- According to HHH, Brock Lesnar didn't screw the company as much as he screwed himself. HHH's main problem with Lesnar, however, is that he did basically spit on all the people who were sacrificed to put him over.
- HHH does keep in touch with Sean Waltman but doesn't talk to Chyna at all.
- When time came to plug his movie, HHH stated that he had a great time and that wrestlers are encouraged by Vince McMahon to do movies.
- HHH put over Chris Jericho, claiming he could be a big star anywhere. He also trashed Bob Holly, calling his actions "inexcusable." He referred to what Holly did to Dupree as a last chance deal.
