Right now it is being implied by several sources in WWE that WWE management was behind the Renee Dupree attack, by Bob “Hardcore” Holly. The backstage heat on Dupree was growing by the day, and he was causing several problems amongst others backstage.
Many say that Bob Holly was not part of the roster cutbacks, because WWE management looks at him as a “problem solver”, or an “enforcer” in the ring.
One former WWE wrestler in TNA has said that even Vince McMahon himself has given people the green light to go stiff on people, in order to send messages in the ring to the victims. Things like this do happen very often, and many in WWE are looking at it as not a very big deal at all.
Most believe from observations of the incident, that when Bob Holly attacked Renee Dupree, Dupree knew exactly why this was happening. Dupree did not fight back, when he could have. Holly is a tough guy, and it’s probably best that Dupree did not fight back, however he did have the chance to if he wanted.
