Vince McMahon has assured former WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero that he is not to blame for low pay-per-view buyrates whilst he held the WWE title.
Since dropping the belt Eddie has been suffering from depression, so Vince was used to boost his morale. According to sources, McMahon actually sat down with Guerrero on numerous occasions in order to fulfil this.
However, Vince’s words haven’t been as successful as previously hoped for. Guerrero’s confidence has taken a major hit over the last two months.
There was a scare with Guerrero at this week's Smackdown tapings, as after his TV main event match with Kurt Angle, he didn't get up right away. Most assumed he was just selling, but it turned out he had a black out, something that has happened to him a few times recently, attributed to wear and tear and stress including dealing with the hurricane.
