Word has it that Kevin “Mordecai” Fertig has been ordered back to OVW for more in ring and mic training beginning immediately. He was brought up recently in a conversation between writers and management about being placed in a program against The Undertaker, everyone agreed he is not ready and was being pushed to soon.
For anyone wondering, John Cena’s “poop” promo on SmackDown last night was put together by writer Brian Gewirtz. Reportedly, Gewirtz is Vince McMahon’s favorite writer and he was said to be pleased with the promo.
We are told that The Undertaker was firm on cutting out a long waiting period before we see whether is pushed as a face or heel. Everything has to be approved by Vince McMahon, of course. Last night on SmackDown, Paul Heyman cut a promo about what went down at the Bash. That seemed to be all that was mentioned last night in addition to them announcing that Paul Bearer suffered severe “internal damage” after being entombed in the concrete crypt. It seems as they will milk this angle for quite a long while.
