Vince McMahon, as reported earlier, was not at the Bash last night nor will he be at any of the tapings this week. We are now being told that he his suffering from Diverticulitis, an extremely serious internal infection which requires him to not do any traveling or moving of any kind. He was on the phone constantly last night and I would expect him to be in constant contact with agents and officials throughout the week.
We took the liberty of consulting specialists at the Mayo Clinic based in Rochester, Minnesota. Doctors say Diverticulitis or Diverticula may have developed in McMahon’s colon after naturally weak places in his colon gave way under pressure. In nearly all cases this cause for marble-sized pouches to protrude through the colon wall, which can be extremely painful. According to Specialists at the Mayo Clinic, since his doctor allowed him to rest at home and away from 24 hour doctor’s care, it is likely McMahon was prescribed simply a liquid or low-fiber diet and antibiotics along with some bed rest. Everything should clear up in a few days and he should be back to his old self in a couple weeks.
