I just came back from a school football match, we drew 3-3. They scored first, then afew minutes later I scored and pulled it back to 1-1. In the second half, we went down 3-1 with the girl who had scored the first goal scoring twice again (I think we would've won if it wasn't for her). I set up our next goal to make it 3-2, then I had a shot at goal that looked like it was going in, but it just hit the post, I was hoping that it'd go in off the post like my first goal, but it went back out into play and we couldn't manage to get it in afterwards. But with 2 minutes left in the game we scored to make it 3-3.
Although we could've probably won the match, we were happy with a draw, because it was our first match together (half of our squad are new players).
But I suppose it wouldn't be a game without me getting injured..twice. One was my ongoing knee injury and the other was when somebody went to tackle me but stood on my foot with their football boots, which kinda hurt. Now I have a massive swelling on my foot that resembles a golf ball, but I don't care because the game was awesome and I love football too much to complain.

Well done- i would be happy with a draw as well if my team came back like that!
Sorry to hear about your injuries- i hope the swelling goes down soon on your foot.
I know you're team is new but will you play often like once a week?

Thanks, my knee's feeling alot better now, but I sometimes can still feel where the stud went into my foot which is, um..nice. We usually have friendly matches once or twice a month usually, other than that it depends on our results, we've only really had cup matches before, and we never really gelled as a team - to put it lightly - so we always got knocked out in the first round. There's going to be a league after Christmas though, which is gonna be awesome, I've missed playing matches week in-week out since I left Halifax Town ladies (because of an injury[suprise, suprise]).
