Before his Wrestlemania match was booked, the Rock and Pat Patterson approached Vince McMahon to set up some sort of “dream match” between Rock and either Hulk Hogan, Goldberg or Randy Savage. Vince McMahon didn’t even want to consider Hogan or Savage and since Goldberg was involved with Brock Lesnar, McMahon wanted him in the Mick Foley match.
