"At that point I had been working for WWE for two years, and I had never spoken to Vince McMahon," he says. "At 3:30 they tell me I'm having a match. [Vince's son] Shane came up to give me the details. I had the shaved head on the side, and really long hair on the top. It wasn't what they had in mind for their clean-cut babyface. Shane said, 'We've gotta go see Vince about the hair.' The first time I had a meeting with him, it was this simple. 'Vince, what do you think about the hair?' 'Cut it.' 'OK.' That was my first meeting with Vince."
