WWE held their annual conference call today to discuss third quarter earnings for the fiscal year 2004. The first question directed towards Linda McMahon was whether or not The Rock would be at WrestleMania 20 next month and if they expected his next appearance to help the buyrate. Linda said that everyone will have to “stay tuned” in regards to who may appear at ‘Mania and never mentioned The Rock’s name in her response, obviously refusing to directly answer the question. As we have been reporting, look for The Rock live on the March 1st edition of RAW.
Forbes.com recently did a piece on Vince McMahon to coincide with WWE releasing their financial figures today. It is worth noting that the piece talks about WWE being down, but on their way back up, which is true from a financial standpoint.
