The following is a recap of Hulk Hogan's appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show written by Ryan Clark of ProWrestlingScoops.com:
Back from the commercial break, Kimmel introduces 'the greatest wrestler of his time, a genuine wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan" who was wearing black warm-up pants and a black tank top. Hogan came out and Hulked Up. The crowd chants "Hogan, Hogan, Hogan".
He says "Hey BROTHER!". He says he has something to say about the show. He says usually at talk shows, they have him sit in the green room for hours. He says he drank beer at his house, then the limo was late coming to get him which was good, and then when he got to the show and there was beer in the green room that he got to drink.
Hogan says he is a huge fan of the Jimmy Kimmel Show and The Mans Show.
Jimmy says Hogan was famous during his time around 1985. Hogan says he was selling out MSG when Kimmel was "pooping in his diapers". Hogan says he came out of retirement several years ago and the fans were still there for him.
Kimmel asks Hogan is he remembers "January 22nd?". Hogan says "if you mean January 24th, it's the night I won the title". Whoops, somebody screwed up on the Kimmel staff! Hogan says on January 22nd, he was out drinking with Andre the Giant. Good cover.
Hogan then tells a story about Andre saying he drank 108 beers in one hour. Hmm.
The guy who was out before Hogan says he heard a story from Vince McMahon. Hogan jumps in and says "Vince? Oh No, Nah, he's a good guy". The guy says he was told Andre used to walk by a fart. Hogan agrees
Kimmel shows a clip of Hogan and Andre from WM. Hogan gets thje pin and the Kimmel crowd loves it.
Hogan says he had is son in the back when he body slammed Andre. Kevin Nash was in the audience and Hogan says that's what got Nash into the wrestling business.
They had an 11 year old kid who was really pumped up big. This kid was huge for 11 years old and had a body like you wouldn't believe. They called him the little Hercules.
Hogan slides over and out comes the next guest...
Nothing newsworthy, nothing to plug, just Hogan. No TNA, no starting his own promotion, just some old WWE/F flashbacks.
