Show returns with Dave & Karl Stern and Jimmy Hart has joined us and he will be talking about Jimmy’s career in a little bit, but they talk about Emory Hail’s condition, and he is doing great after the kidney transplant, but he had a relapse, now he’s up on his feet and he could be wrestling in the next 4 months or so. Karl forsees the disparity between the indies & the WWE, Japan, etc could be the big reasons with deaths in the future and a lot of guys fall to vices of the road. Karl talks about the style of wrestling, a lot of the guys on Hart’s shows work a different style of wrestling, and he feels you need to begin to look into steroids and stuff like that, and it’s a tragic shame. Dave says that Jimmy Hart has seen everything in every time. Jimmy said it was a crazy life back in the 60’s when he was a big musician. Jimmy says he was so blessed to be in Memphis for 5 years and to get his start there, and he’s seen so many people come and go. Jimmy talks about Curt Hennig and how he was in such good shape before he passed away, right up until his last couple of days. Jimmy talks about Spot, Road Warrior Hawk, and Hennig and about how they died. Jimmy asks about Jerry Tuite, Dave says all he knows for sure is that he died of a massive heart attack in the hotel room. Jimmy also brings up Ted Petty, and it seems like every week it seems like something new is happening in wrestling. Jimmy says you can’t blame Vince McMahon or wrestling on any deaths, and that Vince gave everyone a chance. Jimmy also says everyone chooses their own lifestyle. Dave asks Jimmy if there is anything to be done, Jimmy says in Spot’s case that nobody ever knew he was a diabetic. Cory Maclin & Jerry Lawler had no clue either. Dave asks Karl if he has any suggestions, however Karl comments that Vince McMahon does bare some of the blame for some of this, he says that a few years back there were a few indy deaths, but that’s basically because of bad training and other stuff. But over the last year or so, a lot of the names came through the WWE & WWF.
