The main reason several non-wrestling TV characters have made recent appearances at house shows is at the request of Jim Ross. Ross, who controls house show card lineups, suggested this to Vince McMahon who agreed. As a result, Vince, Stone Cold, Stephanie McMahon and Eric Bischoff have all begun appearing at cards as of late - mainly in an attempt to boost attendance.
