- The life of Stone Cold Steve Austin just keeps getting more and more complicated. The latest twist in his love life has his girlfriend trying to stab him with a stake knife earlier this month. The Los Angeles Times ran a story saying that Austin went to dinner with his girl in Beverly Hills, and offered her a $1.5 million check to just disappear and not to press any charges against him from previous accidents. Austin's business manager was there as well and he gave her the check but his girlfriend Tess Broussard refused it, and jumped on Austin with a stake knife. His business manager interfered and ended up getting a massive wound on his arm. Broussard was arrested and later released on a $30,000 bail. She has now filed a lawsuit against Austin for $10 million saying that he got her in the restaurant on purpose to make up the stabbing accident, even saying that his business manager stabbed himself. The story in the Times also had an eyewitness saying that at a recent party at their house Broussard pointed a gun to Austin's head. "I'm not a rocket scientist," Austin was quoted by The Times "But I knew I had to get out of this relationship....The plan was to go out, have a nice steak, hand (Broussard) a check and get on with my life." Too bad it didn't turn out that way. His girlfriend is now due to court on 1st of September and if found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon she can get a maximum of four years in prison.
