Upcoming WWE Roster Cuts: Raven, Credible, More In the past weeks, the WWE has cut contracts of various wrestlers including Godfather, Perry Saturn, and DDP. There are several rumors that WWE will continue to cut lower card wrestlers. Some possible upcoming cuts include: Justin Credible, Raven, Shannon Moore and Johnny Stamboli. Although it is unconfirmed why the WWE is cutting many lower card wrestlers, it is believed the cuts will make room for a few new mid-card or top-card wrestlers. Please don't get rid of shannon!

It's unfair to cut any body to make room for new mid- card wrestlers.
Why not just keep people like raven and Shannon and then give them pushes. The trouble is they are only on velocity and heat (I've heard raven competes on heat)

Several WWE Wrestlers On The Verge Of Being Fired
The following news is derived and re-written from the Torch Newsletter.
Although D-Von Dudley was happy to be working with Bubba again both because of their friendship and the fact that it would be giving D-Von a push, he wasn't thrilled about moving from the SmackDown! locker room to the RAW locker room. Apparently, many RAW wrestlers submit ideas to management that would have them working on the SmackDown! brand, as that is easily the preferred locker room in WWE at the moment mainly in part due to Triple H and Brian Gewirtz on the RAW side.
For about two weeks now, rumors having been running rampant that WWE is on the verge of releasing a lot of their non high-caliber wrestlers. Among the names included for the possible cuts are Raven, Ron Simmons, Justin Credible, Johnny Stamboli, and Shannon Moore. Simmons is expected to take the role of road agent after officially retiring from in-ring competition last week. The rest, are all in danger of being hit by the proverbial WWE axe.

WWE Releases Two Further Superstars January 20, 2003
Source: WWE.com
-- It was reported earlier on this afternoon that WWE had released both Justin Credible and Raven (even after he was on RAW last week). WWE.com confirmed this around 10 minutes ago, posting the following:
"World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., has released Raven and Justin Credible from their contracts. WWE wishes both men good luck in their future endeavours."
-- No exact details have been released thus far, but expect both men to do the interview rounds as soon as they can, and all information will be posted right here.

Thanks for posting it, I can't say I'm too suprised by Justin Credible's release, that's not to say I think he should have been released, but I can't remember the last time I saw him on Raw or Smackdown. I can't believe they released Raven though.
This is from RajahWWF.com:
- Raven proposed a new storyline concept for himself to WWE writers before last week's Raw. It is said that the company was going to go forward with it which supports why Raven wrestled on TV and with a completely new look. However, two days later on Wednesday, he was abruptly fired and not much is known about why.

I think it's really strange how they released raven after bringing him back to raw- he only used to fight on heat.
Talking of Justin credible i can't remember either the last time i saw him on tv!

Barry "B-2" Buchanan Released From WWE
There is very strong word going around backstage that "B-2" Buchanan has been officially released from WWE. The apparent reason is that WWE did not feel that he fit into any of the SmackDown! storylines.
As you may or may not know, he was recently taken out of an angle with John Cena and replaced by Jazz's husband Redd Dogg. Redd Dogg is currently respected very much by WWE.
WWE has traditionally released wrestlers when they clearly did not fit into the storyline, and it seems as if B-2 was the latest victim

They seem to be bringing people back then then releasing them the next week lately, maybe they could do that with A-Train (I really can't stand him).

I thought that B2 worked well with Cena- they obviously didn't think so though.
You are right about them bringing people back and then releasing them. I wonder who might be next *prays it's not Shannon* I think Hogan and Shawn Michaels will both be gone in a few months as they have had their "run" as wwe would put it.
They can't get rid of A- Train because i love the crowd chanting "Shave your back!" at him every time he has a match!

Just found something of interest on prowrestling:
For anyone that is looking to get the real story from Raven himself on his firing from WWE, you'll have to wait. WWE made him sign a confidentiality agreement before leaving. By doing this, it prohibits him from talking about how he feels about WWE.
